Anne Murungi

Anne Murungi is an accomplished business development expert with over 18 years of leadership experience in hospitality, real estate, and strategic consulting across East and West Africa. Anne is the founder and Lead Consultant of Hospitality K. Consult, a Nairobi-based advisory firm supporting SMEs, NGOs, and corporates with strategy, marketing, and organizational growth. In the recent past, she was serving as Commercial Director at IndigoHomes Ghana, where she led the stakeholder engagement, diaspora engagement, media relations and business development for one of Ghana’s leading residential developers.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) degree from the University of Nairobi, alongside multiple international certifications in public relations, customer service, and sales from institutions in Germany and the Netherlands. She is a recipient of the Africa Top 100 Women in Travel Award (Akwaaba, Lagos, 2017) among other recognitions in her career journey.

Anne has served in key support roles in Kenya Tourism Federation, Ministry of Tourism-Kenya, Skal International and Rotary International. She has also been engaged in high-level diplomatic events, including Heads of States visits. Her philanthropic work includes maternal care drives during the COVID-19 pandemic, feeding programs for street children and youth-focused grassroots initiatives.

She is honored to join the Board of MAMA CBO and is committed to advancing its mission of transformative community empowerment.
