David Njiru
David Njiru is a strategic communications specialist with over 6 years of experience in corporate, health and political communications. He’s innately gifted in storytelling and brand management and uses his creative storytelling skills to help organizations and personalities tell their stories better and make a positive impact through unique and authentic brand narratives and media framing.
Njiru is the Communications Lead for MAMA and helps us uniquely tell our story and communicate effectively with our partners, team members and community stakeholders. He’s dedicated to using authentic stories to drive community health policy and community resilience conversations to improve maternal and child health outcomes in marginalized communities in Africa.
He has been a Communications and PR Consultant for Tunga Media Afrika and Said Twaha Foundation and worked as an editorial consultant at the Office of the Embu County Senator. Njiru believes a credible story — told in the right words and objectively — is one of the most powerful instruments of positive transformation in communities and the society.
