Janet Rukunga

Janet Rukunga is the co-founder and Master trainer of Maternal Aid for Mothers in Africa (MAMA) . She is a retired nurse from Moi Teaching and Referral hospital, Eldoret, with over 30 years’ experience as a midwife. She is also a master trainer in: Helping Babies Breath (HBB), Essential Care for Every Baby, and Essential Care for Small Babies where she has conducted trainings in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and the US.
Janet is also working with Share Africa in training on neonatal resuscitation and monitoring the neonatal outcomes in Suba and Mbita sub counties in Homa Bay County, Kenya.
